Frequently asked questions
What does it cost a provider?
Nothing. Consultants pay to be on the register; providers use it free of charge.
How are consultants checked?
Identity, right to work, five-year job history, two references, DBS evidence and liability insurance are reviewed before a consultant is listed.
Who sets the fees?
The consultant does. Some publish day or hourly rates, others list price on application. You contract with them directly.
Is my enquiry confidential?
Your enquiry is shared only with the consultant you contact, or with matched consultants if you post a requirement.
Are you connected to CQC?
No. ACC is independent and is not part of, or endorsed by, the Care Quality Commission.
What if I am unhappy with a consultant?
Raise it with the consultant first, then with us. Accredited consultants agree to our Code of Conduct and can be removed from the register.
