Accreditation

Anyone can list themselves in a directory. Consultants on this register cannot call themselves ACC accredited until they have met our accreditation requirements and their evidence has been reviewed by our team.

Why accreditation matters
Care consultancy is not a regulated profession.
There is no register a provider must belong to, no protected title and no minimum standard for calling yourself a care consultant. Anyone can set up tomorrow, and providers are left judging competence from a website and a conversation.
That matters because the work is high stakes. A weak registration application, a missed safeguarding theme or poor advice before an inspection can affect people using the service, a manager's position and the provider's rating.
ACC accreditation gives providers an independent reference point: someone other than the consultant has looked at the evidence behind the claims.
