Governance consultants
Governance is how a provider knows what is really happening in its service. Accredited consultants on the ACC register help boards, owners and registered managers build oversight that stands up to scrutiny.
What a governance consultant does
- Designs and tests a governance framework proportionate to the service
- Builds audit calendars, dashboards and quality reports leaders can act on
- Reviews incident, complaint and safeguarding oversight end to end
- Prepares evidence packs that show learning and improvement over time
When providers ask for governance support
Common triggers include a change of ownership, growth into new locations, a poor inspection outcome, or a nominated individual wanting independent assurance that systems work in practice, not just on paper.
